General Informations For "LSF" Tube Fittings
Lung Shun Fa tube fittings are applied to high pressure, impulse, vibration, vacuum and temperature. The tube fittings has been specifically designed for use on instrumentation, process & control systems and equipment employed in chemical, petroleum, fluid power, electronic and pulp & paper plants.
Construction Of "LSF" Tube Fittings
"LSF" tube fittings, a leak tight seal is achieved through the simple action of tightening the nut against the body. This provides the axial thrust required to compress the captively held ferrules against the O.D. of the tubing. The staged swaging action of the ferrules during the compression phase of make-up provides the key to LSF's sealing superiority.
Suitable Tubing Materials
Stainless steel tube:
1.TP304 and TP316 of ASTM A269 or A213 or equivalent.
2.TP304 and TP316 of JIS G3459 or equivalent.
3.The wall thickness selection should be based on the operating pressure, temperature and shock conditions.
Fully annealed tubing is recommended. Stainless steel tubing having a hardness of less than Rockwell
B90 should be used.

• Allowable stress = 13.125 kgf/mm2 ,Temperature = -29 °C ~ 37.8 °C.
• Factory of Safety = 4, Considering Tensile Strength to be 52.5 kgf/mm2 at room temperature.
Assembly Instructions
1. Insert front and back ferrules onto the tube as shown in Fig.-1.
Extra caution is required so as not to reverse them.
Then insert the tube into the center of the nut until it bottoms in the fitting body as shown in B of Fig.-1.
Caution: Tubing ends should be cut relatively square and burrs removed.
Where practical, the use of a tubing cutter is recommended.
2. Tighten nut as much as you can by finger. This position is referred to as " finger tight position."
3. Hold the fitting body by holding its hex with a spanner and tighten the nut with another spanner
an additional 3/4 turn for sizes 1/8" through 3/16" and 1-1/4 turn for sizes 1/4" through 1".
Note:All assembled fittings in this catalog are shown in the finger tight position.
Tube wall thickness is 0.89mm.
